A COUPLE OF RANDOMPHOTOS:

Coming very soon to a discerning record merchant is my new release,
"From Your Summer Roads" a split EP with Moblin, the test pressings are
only
a few weeks way, so expect a release sometime early this year.
There's a new email now for those of you how want to send some quality
hate my way although offers of gigs, girls and gleefulness are much more
eagerly anticipated.

By the time you read this, S.O.I. Industries, the promotional wing of
randomnumber will have put on it's last event for sometime, so I hope
everybody who was at BRB on the 10th october had a good time.Same goes for
the Kid 606 show, which ended up being a whole shedload of fun, and not
the
financial ballache i thought it would be. I think it's safe to say that
Team
Catmobile have picked up the gig promoting gauntlet in style, and despite
some unlucky circumstances befalling them, they are Leeds' premier
"electronica" and digital musics promoters now. They have a whole bunch of
juicy nuggets on the way, everything from Otto Von Schirach (TBC) to
Venetian Snares.
Also, the BRB film fest show will be the last randomnumber gig in Leeds
for
this year, i may be appearing from the safety of random HQ for the odd
spot
of DJing, but mostly i'm going to bury my head in writing for the next
Sierpinski record, and getting all medievil in finishing off and mixing
"Towards The Forlorn Society", my new album which will drop next year at
some point.

The Fact That I Did EP
(Rock Action)

Mogwai's label hits its stride with this cracker - a fearfully warped EP of
rubble-strewn experimental electronica from ex-Hood member Matt Robson.
'Discontents' bears all the devil-may-care irreverance of the Tigerbeat
imprint, wringing skittering beats over a whirl of electronic piano and -
wierdest of all - an opera diva's stately warble. It is, basically, Slint
meets Aphex Twin on plastic.
